University of Iowa Lesbian, Gay, Transgender Staff and Faculty Association

The University of Iowa Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Staff & Faculty Association (the "Association") was organized in 1990 to support the interests of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender campus community. The Association is open to any University employee - merit staff, professional/scientific staff, graduate assistant, faculty, administrator or community member.


Women's Resource and Action Center (WRAC)

The Women’s Resource and Action Center (WRAC) at The University of Iowa is a diverse community dedicated to fostering women's individual empowerment and systemic solutions to all forms of oppression. The Center leads and collaborates on projects that serve UI students, staff, faculty, and the greater community.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center provides a supportive and inclusive environment and programs that empower students, faculty, staff and community members to excel in their endeavors, stretch themselves to experience diversity, engage in activism, make positive choices, and serve their community.
